On October 29, 2008, Barry and I were  surprised to discover a young hawk sitting on the railing of our balcony. Please excuse the spontaneous dialog that was recorded with the video, but listen for the point at which a squirrel appears on the scene.

There is some controversy about the species of hawk that visited us. I say it’s a young Red Shouldered Hawk, but our friend Duffey swears it’s a Red Tailed Hawk. Whatever it is, it was exciting to be visited, however briefly.
